Darrin Worthington is a financial professional who is a certified specialist in the field of retirement income planning. Darrin is the founder of Freedom Financial, an independent retirement planning firm located in the Denver metro area. Darrin believes conventional Wall Street advice is failing today’s retirees by using outdated models and concepts. As a result, his practice favors proven strategies based in math & science which form the foundation for building stable retirement income models. This fresh approach ensures current & future retirees maintain a comfortable, stress free lifestyle no matter which direction the stock market, inflation, taxes or interest rates are headed. Darrin is also a member of the SMART Advisor Network, an elite group of advisors nationwide that focus on tax efficient, retirement income planning.

Darrin is accredited by the American College of Financial Planning as a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP). He is also accredited as a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA). Darrin is the Executive Producer of the first Hollywood movie ever created on the subject of retirement income planning called, “The Baby Boomer Dilemma”, released in October of 2021.

Darrin is a graduate of Fort Lewis College, with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He is a member of the Fort Lewis College Athletic Hall of Fame (Men’s Basketball) and was the 3rd all-time leading scorer in school history. He was the first Academic All- American in school history. Darrin is a 3rd generation Colorado native as well as a lifelong Denver sports fan. He has three adult children and enjoys getting away to the mountains to hike, fish, or just explore all the beautiful scenery Colorado has to offer.
