When I was in my 30s, I received a phone call that changed my life. My aunt called to tell me that my father had passed away unexpectedly at just 55 years old. At the time, I was living in Southern California, and my father was in Northern California.

In that moment, everything stopped. I dropped what I was doing and rushed to handle arrangements, but quickly realized something that made an already heartbreaking situation even harder—my father didn’t have any life insurance. What should have been a time to grieve and comfort my family turned into a struggle to find $10,000 just to make sure he had a proper burial.

Trying to raise money while mourning my father was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. It opened my eyes to how deeply financial preparation—or the lack of it—can affect a family during one of life’s most painful moments.

That experience changed my perspective and ultimately the direction of my career. I decided to dedicate my life to helping others avoid what my family went through. Today, as a licensed life insurance professional, my mission is to help families protect what matters most—so that when the unexpected happens, their loved ones can focus on healing instead of financial stress.

For me, life insurance isn’t just about numbers or policies—it’s about peace of mind, dignity, and love. Every conversation I have with a client is guided by that experience and by the promise that no family should have to face what mine did.
