Patrick Moriatrty

Patrick Moriarty is a financial advisor with over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has worked for some of the largest firms in the industry including Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, and Wells Fargo. The experience he gained by working for those companies enabled him to start his own financial services firm six years ago. Patrick’s main concentration is helping individuals plan and prepare for a successful retirement.  Having experienced financial markets that soared, fallen, and gone sideways, Patrick’s golden rule is to protect his client’s hard-earned principal, no matter what the markets do in the future.

Charles Schwab’s 2021 modern wealth survey indicates that only 33% of American have a written financial plan.   With the results of this survey surprisingly low, Patrick has made this his primary mission as he meets with pre retirees and newly retired individuals.  Not having a written retirement plan would be like going on a road trip without your GPS or an old-fashioned map.  Having a written retirement plan is not complicated, time consuming, or expensive.  A written retirement plan will give you the confidence to live the retirement you deserve, while knowing you will not out live your money, no matter what the markets do in the future.  A failure to plan, is a plan to fail!

Patrick graduated from The University of Maryland with an Economics degree.  He has lived in Rockville MD for the past 30 years with his wife Marian.  They have two adult children that live on opposite coasts.  This enables them to visit different parts of the country annually.  When Patrick is not preparing retirement plans, he is very active at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Argyle Country Club.

Take this opportunity to meet with Patrick and have him plan your successful retirement roadmap.
