Richard Cohen was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey and now resides now in Henderson, Nevada with his wife, Merydith. We have been married for 22 years and have 5 children and two grandchildren.  

Richard received a business management degree from Fairleigh Dickerson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Richard’s biggest passions in life are his family and friends. 

Richard Cohen is dedicated to helping families protect themselves and their retirement savings. Richard is an Advanced Planning and Retirement Specialist who uses honesty and transparency with clients to find the best plan for their financial situation. He works with his existing clients to ensure their policies are in place and help new clients find the best products to serve their needs. 

Richard often reflects on his life, being thankful for his family and everything he has after being a survivor of 911. After losing his job and having young children during that time, he is proud of the obstacles he had to overcome and the success he has reached.

In his free time, he enjoys the theatre and anything sports-related. Richard is a big fan of all Chicago sports teams after his father grew up there. He also likes to stay active by working out or playing racquetball. Richard loves to travel, especially to Hawaii. He likes to explore different countries to educate himself and enjoy other cultures.
