For 33 years, Art Miller has provided financial guidance to those nearing retirement and retirees. As a retirement planning specialist, he helps his clients preserve their assets from market losses and develops strategies that maintain sufficient lifetime income.

Art has counseled pre-retirees and retirees throughout the United States on how to maximize Social Security income, reduce taxes, avoid probate, and eliminate the risk of depleting assets due to nursing home costs. His areas of expertise include developing plans that assist clients in preventing the most common tax penalties and beneficiary mistakes with their IRAs, 401ks, etc.

He will also analyze a clients’ needs for life insurance, annuities, and long term care insurance to maintain and grow assets to achieve retirement goals. Art has been a speaker for The Illinois CPA Society (Northshore Chapter), the Chicago Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, the Du Page County
Bar Association, the Greater Northshore Financial and Estate Planning Council, the Chicago Medical Society, the Illinois Retired Teachers Association, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He has written articles for FedWeek and The Chicago Medical Society Journal. Art has been quoted in Investor’s Business Daily and The Street. He has been a guest on WGN radio and other radio stations.

For twenty years, Art has taught retirement, income planning, and Social Security classes throughout the greater Chicago area and southern Wisconsin. Art is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and is an instructor for the Learning Lab.
