Tony Gallardo is a Certified Financial Professional with IFW, not aligned with any single institution exclusively, so he can focus on getting the best retirement solutions for his clients.

He spent the first twenty years of his career in the electronics R&D, engineering and manufacturing industry, with upper level operations and financial management responsibilities. He was president of a manufacturing subsidiary with 150 employees, and Vice President and Director of the parent corporation.

For the following twenty years, he worked independently as a benefits specialist with small business owners in Virginia and Maryland. Tony’s wide ranging business experience has given him keen insights into the challenges of maintaining a financially healthy business while simultaneously meeting the demands of operations, payroll and the numerous tax obligations.

He currently works with retirees, helping them assure a reliable retirement income that mitigates risk of loss from market fluctuations.

Tony has a B.S. in Engineering from The University of Tennessee and an MBA in Business Finance from American University Kogod School of Business. He is an Army Veteran, Intelligence Officer, Captain, and served during the Vietnam War Era, 4 years active duty, 9 years in the reserves. He enjoys running and spending time with his family and his three grandchildren, and is passionate about helping Veterans and working with youth groups through his American Legion Post. In his free time, you can often find him on a running trail, or with one or more of his grandchildren, enjoying fishing or one of their soccer games.
