William B. (Bill) Eager, a licensed financial professional for over 20 years, is the founder of Eager Financial, and Eager Health Life & Annuities, LLC. In May of 2024 Mr. Eager was invited to be associated with the Institute of Financial Wellness (IFW) and has been officially certified as an IFW Certified Financial Professional!

Bill lives in and works from Connecticut, successfully guiding clients across the nation in implementing sustainable, financial solutions for life, retirement and legacy. He is Licensed in Life and Health insurance in 20 states, and has built upon the skills and experience from his former role as Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors as well as his expertise in solutions development from his management and consulting years at IBM.

Bill was born and raised in and around Boston, educated at local schools including BentleyCollege, Massasoit Community College and Northeastern and Suffolk Universities and of course from his 6 years serving with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

His first professional endeavor was in sales management and consulting with IBM Corp., after which he went on to open his first insurance agency in Connecticut in 2003. Then in 2011 Bill joined Wells Fargo Advisors for a few years, to continue to grow his retirement planning skills and further develop his expertise in the use of fixed and fixed-indexed annuity retirement strategies.

Like all of us Bill is a reflection of his personal life. Married 40 plus years and loving it, he and his bride Terry are blessed with 4 amazing grown children and their ever-expanding families. He also enjoys mastering guitar (a work in progress always), Can-Am country road-trips with Terry, their beach and travel vacations, evenings by the fire-pit, and the sweet antics of Molly, their “3rd” mischievous Yellow Labrador Retriever?
