The Self Directed Brokerage Account

Do You Have This Feature Inside Your 401(k)?

This week we are going to unveil a very well-kept secret that is available in about 50% of the 401(k) plans in America!

It is called the Self-Directed Brokerage Account and it enables you to receive access to additional investment options and professional guidance from an Investment Advisor.

It is well documented that people who have guidance and support from investment advisors do better by approximately 3% points (even after any additional fees are incurred).

If you feel like you could benefit from having a professional assist you with your 401(k) (which is likely going to be your largest and most important retirement asset) you can check with your HR director and they will know whether you have this feature available.

In addition to the investment advisor helping you with investment decisions about your 401(k) they can also do some forecasting and modeling to make sure you are saving enough and maybe even give you some strategies to enhance your retirement income without having to save any additional money.

Check with your company to see if the SDBA is offered because it very well might help you…GET THERE!
