Morning Habits to Live Your Best Life
Four Morning Routines That Actually Help You Sleep Better

What can we do to break the “terrible” cycle of bad night’s sleep = bad mood during the day = not living your best life? Here are some suggestions that just might do the trick!
1. Hit the off switch. Turn off the lights, the phone, the TV before you close your eyes. Light prevents the release of melatonin which helps you fall asleep while also promoting the release of cortisol which may make you think it’s still daytime.
2. When you wake up; go outside. Take a quick walk, do some gardening, or enjoy the morning. The activity helps increase your sleep drive and puts you in a better mood throughout the day.
3. Connect with people that matter to you. Call a friend or loved one, even to say “good morning.” It can have the same effect as taking a walk and can put you in a better mood throughout the day.
4. Eat a healthy breakfast you can look forward to. Breakfast gets your metabolism going and keeps you on track to create a rhythm on track.
Living your best life is the sum of many parts, not just your financial well-being. Try to do these four little things, be in a better mood, get a better night’s sleep = live your best life.
